1. Perform Technical Maintenance and Rust Prevention per Instructions
Carry out comprehensive technical maintenance and rust prevention treatments for long-term parked small road rollers according to the engine manual, providing a foundation for prolonged storage.
2. Thorough Cleaning and Proper Parking
Clean the internal and external surfaces of the roller thoroughly. Park it in a warehouse if possible; for outdoor parking, choose a well-ventilated area and cover it with canvas.
3. Adjust Front Frame and Damping Blocks
Lift the front frame horizontally and adjust gasket thickness to ensure damping blocks remain free of shear or deformation, maintaining structural stability.
4. Fix Front and Rear Frames
Use a central articulated frame to secure the front and rear frames, preventing structural displacement or damage from external forces during parking.
5. Add Fresh Lubricant or Grease
Apply new lubricating oil or grease to all lubrication points of the roller, preventing parts from drying out or rusting during long-term storage.
